Henderson Students for Bipartisan Club

Henderson Students for Bipartisan Club

Tired of today’s politically divisive climate influencing the school, three Henderson students have recently created the Bipartisanship Club. They are providing “an opportunity for students of all backgrounds to get involved in politics.” Participating students will meet every other Wednesday to learn about local, state, and federal representatives and how to write them letters addressing important topics. Political discussions will also be held, with an emphasis placed on tolerance and inclusivity. Club founder Becky Schwartz says that “The big rule is making sure nobody gets bullied or made fun of for their views. We’re really just there for everybody.” Join the Bipartisanship Club for their next meeting, Wednesday, March 10th in Mr. Coley’s room. Good food and good conversation will be provided.
